Associazione IV Novembre - Discover the historical culture of the Great War

We at DetectorShop have participated, as technical collaborators, in the annual "Training Day" of the IV Novembre Association held in the evocative site of Forte Corbin in Treschè Conca (VI).

But what does the IV Novembre Association do?

Taking inspiration from their associative statute, among the main activities, we find:

  • lo the study of history
  • disclosure
  • the recovery of finds
  • the enhancement of the heritage of the "Great War"

Concretely, then, the Association is also committed to

  • recovery of immovable artefacts,
  • military objects (weapons, uniforms and everyday objects)
  • archival assets (documents, books, diaries, photographs and film footage)
  • museum management.

In the valuable interview we conducted with President Giorgio Dall'Igna, the strong vocation for educational dissemination in schools aimed at preserving the culture of the historical aspects of the First World War also emerged.

There are many other purposes and activities of the IV Novembre Association, but among these we cannot fail to mention the promotion of information courses aimed at all those who intend to acquire the so-called "License" authorization, necessary for the recovery of military objects of the Great War in the Veneto Region.

In this regard, DetectorShop has been collaborating with the IV Novembre Association for years, contributing to technical teaching on the use of metal detectors for military research, and providing material and technological support for many of the association's activities.
