Do the new updates increase the detection power of the Simplex+ metal detector?
Yes!
Starting with version 2.76, but also in later versions, the sensitivity adjustment notches of the Simplex+ have increased from 6 to 7. In this way it will be possible to find targets at greater depths.
When should I use the new PARK2 research program?
PARK2 is a new research program with metal detectors that is indicated especially on soils infested with scrap metal or other metal trash. It is faster and more responsive than PARK1 and is ideal for better separating desirable objects from metal garbage.
What is the new MUTE function for?
Some manual pinpointers, such as the Garrett ProPointer, operate at the same operating frequency (12 kHz) as the Simplex+. It may happen that, if they are both turned on, the Simplex+ can produce annoying false signals. Now just press the PINPOINT button of the Simplex+ once to reset its audio (MUTING) when using the ProPointer and no longer hear the noises.
Just remember to press the PINPOINT button to reactivate the normal sound of the metal detector.
Are there any optimizations of the metal detector audio?
The new firmware versions of the Simplex+ have improved and optimized both the audio levels of the integrated speaker, both when in use with wired and wireless headphones. Now 4 levels of stronger volume (H1-H2-H3-H4) have also been added for those who use the Simplex+ with the wired headphone.
What is the new indicator for the intensity of mineralization for?
The new indicator (MINERAL BAR) constantly analyzes the intensity of soil mineralization. If the bars (up to 4) grow or vice versa decrease significantly, it means that the mineralization of the soil has varied and it will be useful to re-perform the metal detector balancing procedure to have maximum performance.

Has the numerical indication of targets (VDI) become more stable?
With the latest firmware version, 2.78, the numerical indication of detected objects has become much more stable than in previous versions. This will make it easier to understand exactly what kind of object we are detecting with our Simplex+ metal detector.
Has the metal detector user interface been optimized?
Firmware updates have made the user interface experience even more enjoyable and efficient.
Now you can quickly exit the Settings menu with just pressing the UP ARROW key, but the period of time of automatic return to the search screen has also been slightly lengthened. This is to give users more time to make changes to the settings.
What has changed in the display backlight of the Simplex+?
Now in addition to the fixed intensity levels, that is, which keep the display always backlit, 4 levels of automatic backlighting have been introduced, which causes the screen to glow only when the detector detects an object. These new automatic levels therefore save energy and at the same time help the finder to read the information on the display even in low light.
What has changed in ALL-METAL mode?
Through the settings menu, you can adjust the volume of the threshold sound, which helps the finder to understand if there are variations in the mineralization of the soil but also to acoustically signal the ultra-deep targets.
