The DETECH 13" DD search coil is designed to provide greater coverage and detection depth for Garrett VORTEX metal detectors
enhancing performance when searching on wide and challenging terrains.
Thanks to the DD (Double-D) design and DETECH’s build quality, this coil ensures a stable response, excellent target separation, and uniform scanning even on mineralized soils.
With a 13-inch diameter, this coil allows wider ground coverage with each sweep, reducing search time and increasing the chances of intercepting deep targets.
It is particularly suitable for detecting in open fields, beaches, grasslands, and large areas, where speed and efficiency make the difference.
The DD configuration ensures:
Made with high-quality materials, the DETECH 13" coil is designed for intensive use. Despite its generous size, it maintains good balance, helping to reduce fatigue during extended detecting sessions.

Il Metal Detecting: The excitement of finding gold
There is nothing more satisfying than hearing the distinct sound that signals a valuable object beneath the ground. With a gold metal detector, every signal could be the key to a hidden treasure.
The thrill of discovering gold is not only related to the value material, but to the thrill of an adventure intertwined with history, nature and human curiosity. When you walk with the metal detector in your hand, every signal you hear is a promise, a possibility that pushes you to dig, to discover, to rediscover. Each step can lead you to a forgotten treasure, hidden underground for centuries, or perhaps millennia. Gold, a symbol of wealth and mystery, awaits you in unsuspected places: in the woods, along ancient merchants' roads, or on the banks of rivers that have seen generations of treasure hunters pass by. The real excitement, however, lies not just in the finding of a precious metal, but in the connection that is made between you and the past. Each discovery is a fragment of a story you have been trying to tell, a narrative that slowly emerges from the ground, giving you a feeling of satisfaction that only metal detecting can give.
