The Detech DESERT GOLD 3 is truly powerful and versatile analog metal detector.

Capable of extraordinary performance in all terrain conditions, it can work in MOTION mode with discrimination or QUASI-NO MOTION, ideal for those who do military research.

The detector allows you to have both an automatic "tracking" ground balance, and a sophisticated manual control for top performance.

This new version has been optimized to further improve operational stability and features the outstanding Ultimate DD coil, the most powerful in the world.

Weighting just 1600 grams, it allows for long research sessions without fatigue.

The Desert Gold 3 is powered by 4 NiMH rechargeable AA Stylus batteries (supplied with the charger) and has a range of 20-30 hours lifetime.

The detector is controlled through rotating analog potentiometers and mechanical switches. It is equipped with sensitivity BOOST (HIGH mode), audio tone adjustment, frequency variation to reduce external disturbances and BATTERY status control LED.
