Equinox 700: discover the new Minelab

A few months after the launch of the Minelab Manticore, high-end multifrequency detector, the Australian company has really surprised everyone by introducing two new models of the Equinox series and starting very quickly the international distribution, although for now in limited number.

Surely you already know the famous Equinox 600 and 800, which in recent years have become one of the most sold and appreciated metal detectors worldwide.

With the new year, Detectorshop presents the video guide of one of the new models: the Equinox 700.

Also based on Multi-IQ simultaneous multi-frequency technology, going to analyze in detail all the differences with the previous models and highlighting the numerous and substantial improvements introduced, we can immediately realize how this machine can prove to be a powerful ally in research.

There are many main innovations, in this video we will refer in particular to these aspects of the new metal branded Minelab:

Its mechanics completely redesigned, with carbon rods and locking system with cam-lock
A general weight reduced to just 1.2 kg and a smaller footprint when the detector is closed (the machine measures only 61 cm)
A new plate design (also compatible with the 600 and 800 series) with reinforced fins and built-in thread for clamping the terminal rod
A new ergonomic handle that also incorporates a tactile feedback system with vibration
A front LED light for the illumination of the plate area for night use
A backlight of the screen and buttons with red LEDs
Total water resistance up to 5 metres
A new easily adjustable elbow rest
Identification of detected targets at 119 values
Greater general reactivity and separation of ferrous and non-ferrous objects
Simplification of the Iron Bias function
The new proportional audio mode "Depth Pitch"
New wireless headphones (Minelab ML-85) with proprietary ultra-low latency transmission.
